Anyone For Tennis?

The local Gin Gin Tennis Club have had some refurbishments done to the courts and the club house, including a coat of paint on the outside. Since everything looked so fresh they approached the Art Society to paint a mural on the club house walls.
A fun design was prepared and the painting began.

September Exhibition

"The Happy Trio"

Three ladies, one who has loved art from childhood, one who started her art journey with a difference, and the other who found art after a yachting adventure.  These ladies have joined together as "The Happy Trio" sharing their watercolour, acrylic, oil, pastel and graphite paintings with a diverse subject matter with you.

They would like to invite you to join with them at the Opening Ceremony here at the Gin Gin Gallery on Saturday, September 6th, 2014 at 2 p.m. 

Refreshments will be served.

Oil Painting Workshop

with Dale Leard

At this workshop, Dale will guide you through the techniques of using oil paints and palette knife to create a small landscape

On day 2 you will complete a larger painting of a rocky headland and ocean

The workshop will be held August 30th & 31st, from 9am to 4pm at the Godfrey Wilson Hall in Milden Street Gin Gin.
Cost: $25 per day
Morning and afternoon tea supplied. BYO lunch.
